MuleSource Expands Global Management Team With New Hires From JBoss, Sun, and Tibco

 

Open source start-up continues charge in integration space with new technical and sales talent

SAN FRANCISCO - March 21, 2007 - MuleSource (www.mulesource.com), the leading provider of open source infrastructure and integration software, today announced that it has added three key new hires with deep SOA and ESB backgrounds. Joining MuleSource are Mike Lewis (VP of Sales), Daniel Brum (Technical Director) and Damian Raffell (VP of EMEA Sales and Operations).

MuleSource has grown its headcount to 25 since its October 2006 launch, and plans to increase headcount an additional 100% in 2007. Collectively, the three new hires bring an additional 54 years of IT industry experience to MuleSource.

Lewis was previously Account Director at TIBCO, where he led global sales strategies for a variety of integration solutions. Brum joins MuleSource from JBoss, where he was the core contributor to the JBoss enterprise service bus (ESB) project. Raffell joins MuleSource from Sun Microsystems in the UK, where he was responsible for driving Sun's Business Integration and Enterprise Java Business.
