SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (January 23, 2008) - MuleSource, the leading provider of open source service oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructure software, today announced dates for the second annual MuleCon user conference, which will take place April 1-2 at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District. The conference brings together the rapidly growing community of Mule users, developers, and experts from around the world for two full days of learning and networking. Speaking proposals for conference sessions are also now being accepted.

"Since last year's inaugural MuleCon - the first to bring together the Mule community under one roof - both MuleSource and the Mule project have seen tremendous growth in the number of customers, contributors, and downloads," said Ross Mason, CTO of MuleSource and founder of the Mule project. "MuleCon 2008 provides a fantastic forum for Mule-related thought-leadership, technical discussions, and sharing of best practices."

The conference agenda offers tracks for Mule developers as well as Mule users and IT managers. Sessions will cover product strategy and roadmap, product demonstrations and new features, best practices from experts, real-world user case studies, and panel discussions around current IT trends in the enterprise. Last year, the conference featured testimonials from customers such as H&R Block, MLB.com, and LeapFrog.

Mule users and industry experts are invited to submit speaking proposals at www.mulesource.com/mulecon2008/speakers.html.

Online registration is now open for MuleCon 2008. Early-bird and MuleCon 2007 alumni registration discounts will be accepted until February 29. For more information about the conference and registration details, visit www.mulesource.com/mulecon2008.
