SAN FRANCISCO--MuleSource, the leading provider of open source infrastructure and integration software, today announced the addition of Ron Park as the company's new VP of Engineering. With hundreds of production deployments worldwide, Mule is the industry's most battle-tested open source integration approach.
"MuleSource is the clear market leader in open source ESB and integration, and it provides the world with an elegant way to avoid proprietary vendor lock-in," said Park. "The incredible uptake of the Mule project by enterprise production users is proving that the market is ready for lightweight, open source alternatives for their integration needs. I'm looking forward to working with Ross Mason [Mule creator] and the rest of the engineering team to continue the evolution of the Mule platform, and to keep driving new tools and capabilities for MuleSource subscribers."
Park's 18-year career in the software industry includes expertise in a comprehensive range of enterprise technologies, including Java, J2EE, SOA, EAI, enterprise applications (CRM, Financial Services, ERP, e-commerce), master data management, CDI, web services, and relational databases.
