SAN FRANCISCO, CA – April 19, 2012 – MuleSoft, the number one integration platform provider for application connectivity in the cloud and on-premise, today announced Mule Summit 2012, its third annual series of global summits and the world’s largest event tour dedicated exclusively to application integration. This spring’s Mule Summit series begins April 26, 2012 and will take place in 8 cities: Amsterdam, London, Munich, Milan, San Francisco, New York, Boston and Dallas. The summits bring together top integration experts who will discuss how integration can drive business transformation. During this year’s Mule Summit series, whose theme is “Innovation Through Integration,” attendees will learn how to gain significant competitive advantage through the integration of cloud and enterprise applications. Ross Mason, MuleSoft CTO and founder, will set the stage for each Mule Summit by leading a discussion on the future of integration.

“The accelerating adoption of the cloud is having a major impact on enterprise architectures, especially on the topic of integration,” said David McNally, IT Executive Advisor, IDC Research. “Mule Summits are a great place for IT executives and practitioners to discover the state-of-the-art in integration and learn how integration can drive new levels of business innovation in cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.”

Attendees at Mule Summit will benefit from workshops and training sessions, real world use case presentations, keynotes and networking opportunities and will gain:

  • Insights from prominent industry experts and peers on how they leverage integration to solve difficult business problems
  • Hands-on experience building integration applications from scratch using Mule Studio, the new graphical design environment from MuleSoft
  • Tips for how to measure the effectiveness of integration efforts and justify future investments
  • The opportunity to provide direct feedback to the MuleSoft technical team and influence MuleSoft’s future product direction

“Mule Summits provide a unique opportunity for us to connect directly with the experts at MuleSoft and get a detailed view of what’s new and upcoming in the integration roadmap, directly from the source,” said Erich Leipold, COO at Confluex. “At the Mule Summit we attended last year, we got a tremendous amount of value not only from the interaction with the MuleSoft team, but also from networking and learning from our peers.”

“Last year’s Mule Summit series was a huge success, with hundreds of top integration architects, developers and IT executives from around the world sharing their knowledge and experiences,” said Ross Mason, CTO and founder of MuleSoft. “This spring, we are on pace to at least double the size of previous events, which underscores the critical and growing importance of application integration. The power of an event like Mule Summit is that developers and IT professionals cannot only get a first-hand view of where the integration market is going, but also gain real actionable insights from their colleagues and peers.”
