San Francisco, CA-Sept. 11, 2007-- MuleSource (www.mulesource.com), the leading provider of open source infrastructure and integration software, today announced that Jim Emerich has joined the company in the role of vice-president and chief financial officer.

Emerich joins MuleSource from Salesforce.com, where he served most recently as senior vice president of Internal Audit. During his six-year tenure at Salesforce, Emerich also held the positions of chief accounting officer, interim CFO, and head of the Tax and Treasury departments.

"Jim's background with a high-profile, growth oriented tech company will add significant strength to our management team as we continue to grow. He will play a major role in MuleSource's success just as he did with Salesforce.com." said Dave Rosenberg, CEO of MuleSource.

"MuleSource's leadership position in the integration and SOA market was clearly demonstrated to me by its rapid product adoption, the success of its customers, and the amazing capabilities of the products and services developed through the Mule Project," said Emerich. "The people at MuleSource--its management team, developers and investors--are simply stellar. I am excited to join the executive team and bring my experience to help MuleSource in its future growth."
