MuleSoft Expands CloudHub to Become First Global Integration Platform as a Service

Leading iPaaS Now Accessible in All Global Availability Zones

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – June 26, 2013 – MuleSoft, provider of the world”s most widely used integration platform to connect the New Enterprise, today unveiled the world’s first global integration platform as a service (iPaaS), expanding CloudHub’s footprint and providing regional availability to customers anywhere in the world. CloudHub now spans geographic regions across multiple physical infrastructures, empowering enterprises, developers and SaaS providers worldwide to innovate faster, more cost-effectively, and with the highest levels of performance and availability for their integration applications.

To actively address emerging performance, security, privacy or regulatory needs (e.g., the EU Data Protection Directive), CloudHub gives its customers and partners a choice of geographic regions to deploy their integration applications. CloudHub offers the easiest way for enterprises to integrate SaaS applications with each other or to on-premise applications, as well as allowing SaaS providers and system integrators to build and offer packaged and repeatable integration applications without creating custom code. MuleSoft’s unique development tools and catalog of over 120 off-the-shelf connectors enable integration in a matter of days, not weeks.

The CloudHub platform is designed from the ground up to be a highly available, multi-tenant and elastic integration cloud. Built for the integration needs of global enterprises and SaaS providers, customers can rapidly scale application integration and APIs by distributing to data centers in multiple regions. As the first globally-distributed cloud integration platform, its key features include:

 • Multi-Region Support: Integration apps on CloudHub can now be deployed with one click to any CloudHub region in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas with data centers distributed across the world.
 • High Availability: Highly available, resilient architecture allows MuleSoft to offer the leading SLA of any iPaaS with 99.99% uptime including maintenance and upgrades, with optimal performance and minimal latency achieved by locating data centers closer to the applications being integrated.
 • Failover: MuleSoft helps ensure integration applications are fault tolerant and highly available at both the application and platform levels, so that applications continue to operate without interruption.

Together with Mule ESB, CloudHub is at the core of the Anypoint™ Platform and a key component of MuleSoft’s vision to connect the New Enterprise. As a part of the Anypoint Platform, CloudHub allows enterprises to combine their fragmented applications, data, partners and customers into a single, high performing entity.

According to results from Forrester Research, Inc.”s May 2013 report by Stefan Ried, The Hybrid² Integration Challenge, integration in the cloud is more challenging. Cloud-based integration hubs such as MuleSoft’s CloudHub offer a fully managed multitenant platform-as a-service (PaaS) to develop, test, and run general purpose business around complex integration scenarios in the cloud.

MuleSoft has experienced massive growth as a result of the convergence of SaaS, mobile and Big Data, further enabled by the underlying trend of APIs. The company’s growth has been accelerating, with 2012 bookings exceeding 171 percent of those from the prior year. MuleSoft has expanded its global presence to meet increasing global demand, opening new regional headquarters in Sydney and Buenos Aires, as well as new offices in Atlanta, New York, Singapore, and throughout EMEA.

“MuleSoft is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we’re working with customers and partners all over the world to build their cloud strategies,” said Chris Purpura, GM of the CloudHub cloud platform. “As the world’s first global iPaaS, companies can deploy and run their cloud-based integration applications in the optimal locations aligned with where their data and customers reside. With this new capability, CloudHub continues to widen its lead in the iPaaS category, providing customers with the solutions they need to make their jobs easier and streamline their business processes.”
