Senior Manager, People Operations

At MuleSoft, we're rapidly expanding our People Operations team, and we're looking for a Senior Manager, People Operations to lead our scaled HR support team and our HRIS team to drive better employee programs and processes, all while supporting a growing employee base. This means working seamlessly with every arm of the business. We’re maniacal about our employee experience and performance, and we need a leader who can build the infrastructure to measure, manage, and reward easily accessible.

Goals for your first three months:

30 days:

  • Assess the company’s readiness for compliance with applicable HR-related legal requirements, including EEO-1 electric filing, 5550’s, OSHA, Wage and Hour laws and SOP documentation and postings
  • Assess the business processes housed in Workday and in conjunction with client group’s, propose adjusted business processes
  • Lead and manage the team who acts as the first point of contact for employee inquiries from employees and managers related HR related concerns

60 days:

  • Assess the utility of a shared services model
  • Complete initial remediation of compliance issues with employment practices and business objectives
  • Implement first re-design of Workday to support updated HR business processes
  • Develop and deliver a plan to analyze metrics on manager responsiveness and People Operations Team performance

90 days:

  • Fully up to speed on the entire scope of the role: (i) HCM, (ii) People Operation management, and (iii) scaled processes to support a 50+% headcount growth in the next twelve months
  • Responsible for data management and analysis to drive needed change in support of HR strategy and scalability goals/needs within HR operations
  • Provides training for managers and HR staff to ensure competency in Workday and HR related processes as well as policy and program compliance

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • 7+ years of experience in HR position supporting Compensation, Benefits, HR Systems or HR Operations
  • People management experience and strong leadership ability
  • Must be self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of HCM hands on experience
  • Outstanding analytical, project management, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
