Tomcat Survey 2009 - research in collaboration with Computerworld
In August 2009, Computerworld invited IT and business leaders to participate in a survey on application servers. The goal of the survey was to understand Apache Tomcat’s position in the production application server market.
The study found that over one-third of WebLogic and WebSphere users are likely to move to a different primary production application server within two years. Download the survey report to learn:
- Overall application server migration rates
- Key drivers of migration from WLS and WAS to Tomcat
- Key features and improvements in Tomcat that would increase organizations' likelihood of deploying Tomcat in production
- Penetration rates of popular Java application technologies such as JSP, JEE, Struts, and Spring
- ... and more
